Abstract

Currently there are still almost honorary theacher in every country. Judging from the monthly awards that are still far from expectaction, however teacher honorary still survive. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. The higher the emotional exhaustion, the lower the job satisfacation, otherwise the lower emotional exhaustion, the higher the job satisfaction. The population in this study were 66 honorary teachers in Junior high school in sragen district. In sragen distric, there are 49 junior high school. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Meanwhile in each distric there are 2 Junior High School. The data analysis used is the technique is product moment correlation with SPSS 18 for windows. Based on the data analysis between the variable of Emotional Exhaustion and Job Satisfaction, the coefficient (rxy) is 0.324 and sig. (p) of 0.004 (p <0.01), Effective contibuton is made to determine how much the emotional exhaustion variable contributes to job satisfaction has an R value of 10,5% and the remaining 89,5% is influenced by other factors that are not discussed in this study.
