Abstract

Bangkleyan Village is one of the villages in Jati Subdistrict, Blora Regency, whose village is located on the edge of a forest. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia has a program for people who live in forest areas to improve the welfare of forest communities and create an effective forest conservation model. With the Utilization of Community Forest Resources (Agroforestry) in the Bangkleyan Forest Area, it is hoped that it can help the community's economy and still preserve beautiful forests. This study aims to determine the use of forest resources with the community in the bangkleyan forest area and to determine the economic impact on the community concerned. In this study, the population of the study were farmers or pesanggem around the forest area. The number of samples taken was 67 pesanggem from 200 pesanggem. The formula used in sampling using the Slovin formula. The research method used is descriptive method using quantitative analysis, with primary data as the main data and then analyzed descriptively. Primary data consists of data on land area, crop yields and data on pesanggem. From the results of data processing and analysis, the first shows that the utilization of forest resources in the Bangkleyan forest area uses a simple agroforestry system, which is an agricultural system that combines one type of perennial plant (trees) which are planted intercroppingly with one type of seasonal plant. Plants produced in this forest area are maize as a seasonal plant and teak as an annual plant. Second, from the utilization of forest land, the community is able to improve the economy as seen from the highest income of Rp. 36,000,000, - per harvest with a land area of 2 ha, while the lowest income is 2,250,000 per harvest with an area of 0.25 ha. Utilization of this forest is able to improve the community's economy in terms of housing, consumption patterns, employment and education.
