Abstract

The Sawang Gantung Tribe area located in Selinsing Village, Gantung District, East Belitung Regency is a settlement area classified as a slum area that needs to be considered and reorganized, seeing the local history and culture that exists in the Sawang Tribe, it is important to protect and preserve this area as part of the wealth of cultural treasures that exist in Belitong Island, the area also has natural potential that can be processed into a tourist area.In an effort to help the community and residents of the Sawang Tribe to overcome slums in the area, and to develop and manage the natural potential in the area, it is necessary to arrange the Sawang Gantung Tribe area as a cultural tourism area supported by the Kulong Nek Sumi tourist area as a residential area and proper housing for the people of the Sawang Tribe in Selinsing Village, as well as a place for, educating, recreation, gathering, communicating for visitors and tourists
