Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to, Describe the role of career women in internalizing the values of Islamic education for children in Kalijambe Kidul, Krikilan Village, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency This research uses qualitative field research. The research subjects are women (mothers) who are married and aged between 7-14 years, and these women who have other activities besides being housewives also work to earn money and are Muslim. Also the husband of a career woman who in the family acts as the head of the household. In the data study the researcher used the method of observation, interviews and documentation which were then analyzed through three data reduction activities, data presentation and drawing steps. The results showed that from the four mothers analyzed, it was found that each mother had the wrong way or method in implementing the internalization of the values of Islamic religious education in children: (1) Mrs. Hana with the habituation method, the habit method and the story method. (2) by Mrs. Uswatun, she implemented the internalization of Islamic religious values with two methods, namely the method of supervision and habituation. (3) Ms. Sholihah, she applies the habituation method and the method of concrete events. (4) Ibu Mariati who likes advice and methods of supervision. From this explanation, it is found that even though each mother acts as a career woman, they do not forget the obligations of first educators for children, especially in Islamic Religious Education, among which is in terms of female worship who are able to educate children who initially cannot pray so they can. So prayer, in terms of character women who are able to be role models for their children, namely by behaving well inside and outside the home, and in terms of aqidah women who are able to direct children to always be close to their Lord.
