Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused anxiety who often felt by adolescents, because adolescence can be said to be an unstable age to face unexpected events. The implementation of optimal family function will create family resilience that is able to adapt to external threats, especially Covid-19 pandemic. Income are related to economic status which can affect the mental health of family members. This study aims to analyze the effect of family function and family income on adolescent anxiety levels in the Covid-19 pandemic era. This research is an analytic observational study with cross sectional method. The population in this study were adolescents aged 17-24 years who lived in several cities in Indonesia. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method with a sample of 87 respondents. The data were obtained using a questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Chi square test, Fisher test and logistic regression test. The results of the logistic regression analysis of the effect of family function on the level of anxiety showed that the OR (Odd Ratio) value was 3.575 with p-value of 0.023 (p <0.05). The logistic regression test on the family income variable showed the OR (Odd Ratio) value of 2.188 with p-value of 0.274 (p> 0.05). There is an effect of family function on the level of anxiety. There is no effect of family income on adolescent anxiety levels in the Covid-19 pandemic era.
