Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred since March 2020 until now has limited people's movements due to the implementation of social distancing to reduce the risk of transmission. Someone who lacks physical activity can experience interference. Doing physical activity is important for maintaining mental health. Objective: to analyze the relationship between physical activity with anxiety disorders on adults. Methods: This study used an observational method with a cross-sectional approach with measurements of physical activity were carried out using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the anxiety disorders using questionnaire of the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The population in this research were members of the Karang Taruna RT.007 / 01 Ciganjur, Jagakarsa with a total sample of 52 people. Research results: the results of the study were analyzed using product moment correlation test to get the p-value of 0.001 < 0.05. Conclusion: can be concluded that there is a relationship between physical activity with anxiety disorder on members of the Karang Taruna RT.007 / 01 Ciganjur, Jagakarsa.
