Abstract

Scheduling a project helps show the relationship between each activity and other activities and to the overall project work, CPM (Critical Path Method) assumes that the activity time is known with certainty so that only one time factor is required for each activity. This study aims to apply the CPM method in rescheduling a new building construction project in Matesih District with the CPM method. The first week to the 9th week the project has fluctuating progress while in the 10th week the project is less stable and experiences the most delays, namely -2.227%, the 11th week the project exceeds the target and the project can run according to the S Curve (time schedule). From the results of making an alternative acceleration, an alternative is obtained, namely overtime work is carried out for 7 days, the acceleration alternative is an alternative to overtime work for 7 days at the initial cost IDR 3,247,361,000 and after overtime for 7 days IDR 3,273,030,263 with overtime fee of Rp 25,668,838.00- which is compared to the cost of the fine ie IDR 3,263,273,064 with a fine for 7 days IDR 2,273,152.00-. It is better not to do overtime work because the cost of overtime and overtime costs is greater than the cost of the fine. Keywords : cpm methods, scheduling, construction projects
