Abstract

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia's territory cannot be separated from the coastal areas that support some of Indonesia's population who work as fishermen. One of the fishermen settlements that need to be addressed in terms of environmental conditions is the Dukuh Ngemplak Fisherman Village. The location of settlements in strategic areas, namely residential areas designated as the marine and fisheries development sector in Jepara Regency, is a factor in rearranging residential areas. Ujungbatu Fishermen's Settlement, Jepara City is included in the Urban Area Section (BWP) 1 which functions as an area for developing activities in the areas of offices, settlements, fisheries, education, tourism, transportation as well as trade and services. Arrangement of fishermen settlements due to environmental problems by applying environmental management methods through a green architecture approach that focuses on the waterfront area. The Green Architecture concept will be a review in planning and designing with attention to sustainable development aspects, including the basis for green environmental conservation, waste management, water and energy conservation aimed at overcoming slum environmental problems. Meanwhile, in the former residential area affected by the relocation, an open space development plan is carried out which can be 2 developed into a waterfront area and can be managed by local residents so that it has a high selling value. Through the rearrangement of the slum area, the waterfront area will have a fairly high attractiveness and sale value of the area.
