Abstract

In responding to environmental problems, especially on the border of the Kampoeng Batik Laweyan river that never ends, the quality of tourism that still needs to be improved, as well as the lack of productivity and the lack of interest in the younger generation of local people towards their ancestral cultural heritage, FPKBL as a community that manages Kampoeng Batik Laweyan has several efforts to overcoming the problem. One of them is planning a tourism development project in the form of revitalizing an area that uses river borders as part of the land. Through this project, FPKBL not only aims to improve the quality of the environment in Kampoeng Batik Laweyan, but also wants to provide a forum that is able to provide education that raises the potential of the community towards the local culture of their hometown as well as about maintaining the quality of the environment but on the other hand it can also improve the economy of local communities that are in it. This revitalization program is planned to be implemented starting from the Laweyan Monument which will be declared as Point 0, then reviving the market atmosphere with the concept of a semi-permanent market around the monument to the Bandar Kabanaran site, as well as taking advantage of several river crossing points of Kampung Batik Laweyan as a place entertainment activities in the form of educational tourism centers, culinary tourism centers and creative tourism with the theme "Creative Barokah Tourism".
