Abstract

Coronary heart disease is a buildup of plaque in the coronary arteries caused by atherosclerosis which is characterized by the accumulation of fat on the walls of the coronary arteries causing difficulty flowing through the heart, coronary heart disease usually occurs at the age of 40-70 years and associated with risk factors for aging. Factors that can trigger coronary heart diseases, such as lifestyle, genetic factors, age, and other comorbidities. The coronary heart disease rehabilitation program is divided into three phases, namely phase I (inpatient), phase II (outpatient or intervention phase), while phase III (maintenance). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cardiac rehabilitation programs on the quality of life of patients after coronary heart disease and to determine the effect of phase I, II, and III cardiovascular rehabilitation programs in supporting the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease. The research design in this research is critical analysis, analysis, and evaluation of articles, books, or other media. In writing a critical review of the Randomize Control Trial study, the writer must know the material, know how to analyze and evaluate the material using the appropriate criteria. The data search bases were obtained using several literature search engines, namely PubMed, NCBI, Science Direct, Jane biosmentic, and PEDro. Combined with several keywords to support a specific goal. After getting the appropriate articles, then identify the type of Quartile (Q) of the articles obtained and then process them using the Scimago Journal and Country Rank (SJR) search engine. For this type of critical study research quartile, the minimum requirement is Q3 with a randomized control trial (RCT) type of research. Results a total of 646 articles after searching on predetermined search engines and databases. There are 345 articles according to the study of coronary heart disease and quality of life in the past 10 years. There were 88 articles according to RCT. There were 35 articles according to the inclusion criteria. 7 articles were selected that met the PEDro scale criteria and also the quartile value (Q) of the selected articles. The assessment of the 7 selected articles was carried out using the PEDro scale measurement. The results showed that the effect of a cardiac rehabilitation program can have a significant effect on the quality of life of people with coronary heart disease.
