Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internship work, self-efficacy and learning motivation on work readiness. This research belongs to a type of descriptive quantitative research. The population used in this study were all students of the class of 2016-2018 Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data collection method is done through questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use classic assumption tests that include normality tests, heterosesedastisity tests and multicolinearity tests. While the hypothesis test uses multiple regression test, t test, F test and determination coefficient (R2). The results of this study showed that internship work has a positive and significant effect on work readiness, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work readiness, as well as learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on work readiness. Hasi F test shows that internship variables, self-efficacy and learning motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on work readiness. The coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the variables of internship work, self-efficacy and learning motivation are able to influence the work readiness variable by 21,5 percent. The high influence of 2 internship variables can be a reference in student self-development efforts to have good work readiness in the future.
