Abstract

The phenomenon in Assalaam Hypermarket after being affected by Covid-19, Assalaam Hypermarket has decreased turnover by 10%, data obtained from Human Resources Manager Assalaam Hypermarket, this proves that employee motivation has decreased due to a decreased sense of security, with the presence of WFH (Work From Home) from the government. The purpose of this study is to examine the correlations between security and work motivation for all employees of Assalaam Hypermarket. The subjects of this study were all permanent employees of Assalaam Hypermarket totaling 150 employees. The sampling technique in this research is a population study. This study uses quantitative methods using a Likert scale and using correlation analysis. Thus, the hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive correlations between security and work motivation. Based on the results of the hypothesis test for the variable feeling of safety with work motivation, the correlation coefficient r = 0516; p = 0.000 (p<0.050), from these results it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant correlations between security and work motivation.
