Abstract

IoT (Internet of Things) is increasingly being used in various sectors, including the industrial, education and health sectors. Utilization of the internet is almost used by every community in everyday life, so that the internet is used as an innovation in all fields. One of the uses of IoT technology is in the electrical energy system monitoring system in buildings. This monitoring is important to monitor the performance of a device and the consumption of electrical energy in buildings. In a building must have a system HVAC (Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioner), currently monitoring process of electrical energy consumption must be done by looking at the kWH meter in the panel box. The aims of research create an IoT-based HVAC monitoring tool that can be monitored with application smartphone, so that the HVAC consumption electrical energy monitoring process can be accessed using the internet. and can be monitored from anywhere. To compare the monitoring results of IoT-based tools, the PM 1200 Schneider measuring instrument is used with a good level of precision. Retrieval of data from the PM 1200 using the protocol RTU modbus, assisted by the RS485 to ttl module. The use of Arduino UNO as a measuring tool reader and the ESP-8266 as a data sender to the server. The server used is a lot of easy to apply and access. The results from blynk and manual measurements were not much different. On 10-8-2020 the shipment starts from 09.00 to 20.00 and the value is 2123.64 kWH. continued on 11- 8-2020 starting at 05.00 with a value of 2178.97. even if the wifi signal is lost does not affect the reading from the power meter. This condition is made so that technicians do not get confused in periodic monitoring
