Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the giving of breast milk (ASI) in newborns to 6 months babies. One of the obligations of every mother is to provide exclusive breastfeeding for her baby which will be a challenge for her. The support from the families is one of the factors in mothers breastfeeding to overcome its difficulties. The Indonesian government has supported for working mothers to breastfeed their babies. This literature review aims to examine the relationship between family support for working mothers and the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The method used in this research is Literature Review. The results of the literature review show that there is a relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding and also show that there is no relationship between family support and the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Working mothers need to get from family and work superiors for the success of exclusive breastfeeding.
