Abstract

Economic growth is a long-term problem that is always faced by a country. Central Java Province is a province that has an economic growth rate below the average national economic growth. This study aims to determine how much influence domestic investment, foreign investment, labor force participation rate and inflation have on economic growth in Central Java. This research is a quantitative research. The variables used are GRDP at constant prices, domestic investment, foreign investment, labor force participation rate and inflation which originates from BPS Central Java for the period 2011-2019. The method of analysis used in this research is the panel data method. Panel data analysis is a combination of time series and cross-section. The results of this study indicate that the PMDN variable has a positive and significant effect on Central Java's GRDP, the PMA variable has a positive and insignificant effect on Central Java's GRDP, the TPAK variable has no effect on Central Java's GRDP, and the Inflation variable has a negative and significant effect on Central Java's GRDP. Based on the test results, the coefficient of determination of the four variables has an effect on the GRDP of 96.56% while the remaining 4.4% is explained by other variables.
