Abstract

This study analyzes beef imports in Indonesia and the factors that influence it during the 1996-2018 period. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive design. Time series regression analysis is used as a research analysis tool with Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of foreign beef prices, domestic beef prices, beef consumption, beef production and exchange rates on beef imports in Indonesia. Based on the estimation results, it shows that Domestic Beef Prices have a positive and significant effect on beef imports in Indonesia. And Beef Consumtions have a positive insignificant and Foreign Beef Prices, Beef Production and Exchange Rates have a negative and insignificant effect on beef imports in Indonesia.
