Abstract

Poverty is one of the macroeconomic issues faced by countries in the world, including Indonesia. This study aimed to estimate the effect of minimum wages, inflation, education and labor productivity simultaneously and partially on poverty in districts / cities in Central Java using the Fixed Effect panel data regression model. This study found that minimum wages, inflation, and labor productivity showed a negative and significant effect on poverty in districts / cities in Central Java. Meanwhile, education had no effect on poverty in districts / cities in Central Java. The government is expected to maintain economic growth Central Java. The government must overcome the lack of education, especially in remote areas or provide training to find work.
