Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever or commonly referred to as DBD is a disease transmitted by vectors that carry the dengue virus which can be transmitted through its bites, attacking all ages from infants to the elderly. The dengue virus carrier vectors are mostly mosquitoes of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictu. Factors for the occurrence of DBD cannot be separated from within humans (hosts), namely human knowledge and behavior. Someone who has good knowledge or knowledge about a disease will increase the correct attitude and action / behavior. Knowledge is influential as the initial motivation for someone to behave. The purpose of this literature review is to provide an explanation of the relationship between knowledge and behavior towards the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever. Search for computerized articles using the google scholar database, science direct, research gate, ProQuest and PubMed. Literature search began in the year published in 2010 to 2020 for review. This research is a literature review with a special review method or summarizes empirical or theoretical literature to provide a more comprehensive understanding of knowledge and behavior regarding the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever. The inclusion criteria in this literature review are in the form of research variables in accordance with those to be reviewed, the research method uses observational with a cross-sectional or quantitative approach with observational Product Moment correlation and research literature in Indonesian or English. The exclusion criteria are in the form of literature that has been published for more than 10 years (before 2010) and the research literature cannot be accessed completely. The conclusion from this literature review is that it states that there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior towards the incidence of DBD.
