Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on the economic sector which makes some companies carry out housing policies until the termination of employment (layoffs) to their employees. With the layoffs, it turns out that not all employees who are laid off Claritin prolonged grief. Some of them, in a relatively short time, rediscovered spirit and tried to rise for a living for the sake of his family. The purpose of this research is to find out the picture of hardiness in workers who experience layoffs during the Covid 19 pandemic. Participants in this study numbered 5 people, 3 females and 2 males with an age range of 20-36 years. Two people are married and three are single. They live in the city of Surakarta (one person), Bandung (two ), and Trenggalek (two ) This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. Research of the result proved that the participants had the hardiness shown by a commitment to remain family-friendly, remain controlled in their behavior, and be ready to face challenges. These competencies make them able to explore their personal potential and realize that those potentials can be developed and become business land to make a living independently (entrepreneurship). Their creativity appears and feels to create new products that are more in demand by the public, such as uniquely designed bird cages, or various wet cakes with manual and online sales concepts and specifically made looks.
