Abstract

Khitobah is one of the means used by Muslims which aims to invite students to do good and prevent bad deeds (means of da'wah). In order to attract sympathy from the congregation or those who listen to the khitobah, creativity in the content of the khitobah and good self-confidence is needed. Khitobah or speech is an attempt to convey ideas to convey to Fitriana's audience (2013: 5). Creativity will result in various innovations and new developments in life. Creative individuals and organizations will always be needed by their environment because they can meet the needs of the changing environment and are able to survive in a dynamic and tight global competition. Confidence is one aspect of an individual personality that must be owned. When someone believes in his abilities, he will feel able to do something. Trust in himself that will motivate to try to achieve his goals (Berdanus 2015: 15). The purpose of this study was to describe the activities of khitobah dzuhur in optimizing creativity in high-grade students of Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan Colomadu elementary school. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive type. Principals and teachers are the subjects of this study. While the object of this research is the implementation of khitobah dzuhur activities in optimizing creativity in high class students. This study uses three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Testing the validity of the data in this study using triangulation of techniques and sources. In this study, researchers analyzed data using interactive analysis techniques Miles and Huberman (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion). The results of the study show that the dzuhur khitobah is carried out after the midday prayer performed by high-grade students in turn according to schedule with unlimited material and gets feedback from the teacher. The results of this study indicate that the dzuhur khitobah is carried out after the midday prayer performed by high-grade students in turn according to schedule with unlimited material and gets feedback from the teacher. The form of creativity of students from the implementation of the dzuhur khitobah activity is the desire to read, compile khitobah texts and freedom of thought. The form of self-confidence from the results of the implementation of the dzuhur khitobah activity is shown by the presence of communication in class, student self-control, not easily discouraged and the dhuha prayer priest. The obstacle in developing students' creativity and self-confidence is that the scheduling is not optimal and the bullying makes students mentally fall. The solution to dealing with obstacles in developing creativity and self-confidence of students is to follow up the dzuhur khitobah schedule and still provide motivation to students to have a strong and confident mentality.
