Abstract

The growth of medium and large industrial production in 2011-2017 in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province tends to increase, it is proven that the role of industry in the economy in this Province is able to encourage the growth of the people's economy and regional economy, both in terms of contribution to GDP and exports as well as in absorption. labor. However, this industry still faces many problems, both at the level of competition in the domestic market and the international market. The objectives of this study are (1) to estimate the 2016 production data, and (2) to analyze the production function of the industrial sub-sector. The research method uses data generating analysis and panel data regression with the Random effect Model (REM) method. This study uses secondary data with cross sections on fourteen industrial sub-sectors and time series data in the period 2011-2017 data generating 2016 and panel regression data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Yogyakarta Special Region Province. that the three factors, namely labor, energy value, and material value have a positive and significant effect on the output value of medium and large industries in the Province of Yogyakarta.
