Abstract

A child is any human being under the age of 18 (eighteen) and unmarried, including a child who is still in the womb if it is for his / her interests. Children have special characteristics (specific) compared to adults and are one of the vulnerable groups whose rights are still neglected, therefore children's rights are important to be prioritized. This type of research uses the juridical - empirical legal research type. This research approach method uses descriptive method, because it describes the rights of children as workers. Children are an asset of a nation that must be educated properly to become the successor of future generations. In fact, the phenomenon of child labor is not just an issue of children carrying out wage work, but is closely related to exploitation, hazardous work, obstructing access to education and hindering children's physical, psychological and social development. Even in some cases and in some cases children have been classified as the children working in the most intolerable situations.
