Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of firm size and company performance growth on stock returns in consumer goods industry manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2018. The research sample consist of 38 consumer goods industry companies that have been listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange over the 4-year period (2015-2018). The sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling method. Data are obtained from the published annual report on the website www.idx.co.id . And from the websites www.finance.yahoo.com and www.seputarforex.com . The data analysis method used to examine the relationship between stock returns and firm size and financial performance growth is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this research shows that the growth of return on asets (ROA) and the growth of the likuiditashas an effect on stock returns. While, firm size and solvabilitas growth have no effect on stock returns.
