Abstract

This study aims to describe how students respond to the family economy in the current pandemic condition. This research is a qualitative approach with ethnographic design. The research subjects were students of Senior High School 1 Widodaren. The objectives of the this research was carried out from the Widodaren 1 Public High School which resides in Banyubiru Village. Data collection techniques used include, observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure of the data validity, researchers used triangulation of methods and sources. Interactive data analysis techniques use data education, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students of Senior High School 1 Widodaren in Banyubiru Village have relationships, including; (1) Economic condition of senior high school student’s families during the pandemic; (2) Student behavior in improving the family economy. If mutual cooperation is an alternative to ease the economic burden of the family, it is recommended that students help their parents by opening a personal business or selling online shops, helping with housework, helping to look after their parents' shop, and being able to share their time for other activities.
