Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) is there a positive and significant influence on the using of online shopping applications on student consumptive behavior. (2) Is there a positive and significant influence on the using of digital payments on student consumptive behavior. (3) Is there a positive and significant influence on the using of online shopping applications and digital payments on student consumptive behavior. This research is a quantitative research. The research’s sample consisted of 100 students of the Islamic accounting study program at IAIN Surakarta. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis concluded that: (1) the using of online shopping applications has a positive and significant effect on students consumptive behavior. (2) the using of digital payment has a positive and significant effect on students consumer behavior. (3) the using of online shopping applications and digital payments has a positive and significant effect on students consumptive behavior. In the multiple linear regression test results obtained Fcount > Ftable, namely 4.331 > 3.09 and a significant probability value <0.05, that is 0.016. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.082 or 8.2%. The things that can affect the using of online shopping applications and digital payments are: 1) taking into account the factors of need and desire before carrying out shopping activities; 2) be wise in using online shopping and digital payment applications to minimize the occurrence of high consumptive behavior.
