Abstract
This study aims to describe the process, effectiveness, constraints, and solutions of socializing the value of social care using video media with a combination of Topical Review strategies to increase understanding of the values of social care in youth youth groups in Kebakkalang Village, Kemiri Village, Kebakkramat District, Karanganyar Regency. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a pre-experimental type with the One Group Pretest Posttest design. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and observation methods. The validity of the data used the questionnaire validity test with the Correlation Product Moment formula rough numbers and the questionnaire reliability test with the Alpha formula. The prerequisite test in this study used the Shapiro Wilk normality test with the help of SPSS, while the hypothesis testing used the T-Test. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in understanding social care values among youth youth groups, this is evidenced by the Pretest average score of 88.05 to 91.80 at Posttest. Based on these results it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in the understanding of the value of social care in youth youth groups between before (Pretest) and after being treated (Posttest) using the Topical Review strategy combination video media on youth youth organizations. The obstacles faced in this study were time constraints and lack of control over the participants. The solution to these obstacles is to hold socialization in the afternoon or evening so that the time needed is sufficient, when the implementation of the socialization often reprimands participants for not paying attention.
