Abstract

This study aims to determine the test results: (1) the effect of Think Pair Share and Quiz Team learning outcomes. (2) the effect of student activity on mathematical learning outcomes. (3) the interaction between Think Pair Share learning strategies and Quiz Team as well as student activity on mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were student in SMP Negeri 3 Boyolali. The samples in this study were students of class VII A, VII C, and VII F. The sampling technique in this study was the Cluster Random Sampling. Data Collection techniques are done by tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis technique used two ways analysis of variance with unequal cells. The result of the study concluded that: (1) there was a difference in the effect of the use of TPS and QT learning strategies on mathematics learning outcomes with FA = 6,402505 > Ftabel = 4,01. (2) there is a difference in the influence of the use of TPS and QT learning strategies on the results of mathematics learning with FB = 107,5641 > Ftabel = 3,16. (3) there is no interaction between TPS and QT learning strategies and student activeness towards mathematics learning outcomes with FAB = 2,515698 < Ftabel = 3,16.
