Abstract

The problem in this research is what is the role of the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School in non-formal education for the people of Wonorejo Village and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the non-formal education process itself. This research aims to determine the role of the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School in non-formal education for the people of Wonorejo Village along with the factors that hinder and support the running of the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School's non-formal education for the community, especially in Wonorejo Village. This type of research is qualitative research with a sociological approach to understand the reality of Islamic boarding school da'wah, the data subjects of this study are the Director of the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School, the Asatidz, and the Head of Wonorejo Village, in this study using data analysis methods that describe the reality as it is, and research this was done at the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School. To obtain data in this study used interview, observation, and decomentation methods. The analysis used in this study by examining all the data obtained so that it appears the role of non-formal education at the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School for the community and its supporting and inhibiting factors. Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School plays a large role in non-formal education for the Wonorejo Village Community, starting from the students who teach TPA at the nearby mosque, the ustadz-ustdz who fill recitations to the Islamic boarding school providing scholarships for underprivileged residents. And the supporting factor in this da'wah is the awareness of pursuing knowledge which is a supporter of the non-formal education of the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School. In addition, most of the Wonorejo community supports the non-formal education program. As for the inhibiting factor, there are a few residents who do not like the non-formal education program of the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School and the Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School's HR, which are not all adequate.
