Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe 1) Student discipline affects the mathematics learning outcomes of the upper class students of SD Negeri 2 Manggung in 2019/2020, 2) Student interest in learning affects the mathematics learning outcomes of upper grade students of SD Negeri 2 Manggung in 2019/2020, 3) Discipline and student interest in learning affect mathematics learning outcomes for upper grade students of SD Negeri 2 Manggung in 2019/2020. The research method used is quantitative research methods. This study took all members of the upper class population of SD Negeri 2 Manggung in 2019/2020, totaling 68 students. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The prerequisite tests for normality and linearity were used before analyzing the data. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, coefficient of determination, SR and SE. The results showed that: 1) Student discipline had little effect on mathematics learning outcomes of upper class students. Based on the t test, it was obtained (2,600) > (1.668) with a determination coefficient of 9.2%, relative contribution (SR) 49% and an effective contribution of 5%. 2) Interest in learning has little effect on mathematics learning outcomes of upper class students. Based on the t test, it was obtained (3.839) > (1.668) with a determination coefficient of 18.2%, relative contribution (SR) 51% and an effective contribution of 9%. 3) Discipline and interest in learning have little effect on mathematics learning outcomes of upper class students. Based on the multiple regression equation obtained = 59,77 + 0,13 + 0,49 with the F test, it is known that (7.521) > (4.95) and the coefficient of determination 18.7 %.
