Abstract

Income inequality is a problem that occurs in both developed and developing countries. The problem of inequality is a difficult problem to control, especially in the geographic situation of Indonesia as an archipelago. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Fiscal Decentralization policy on income inequality in the districts / cities of East Java province in 2015-2017. The type of data used in this research is combined data from cross section data and time series data from 2015-2017. The data used were obtained from the official website of the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA). The analysis method used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that the PAD, DAU, and DBH variables had a significant effect on income inequality.
