Abstract

The rapid population growth in Indonesia in the last few decades has caused the need for infrastructure to increase as well. The contour of land in Indonesia, which has many hills, is one of the problems in infrastructure development. A handling method is needed so that the infrastructure development process that is on a slope can run well. One method that can be applied to construction around slopes is the installation of retaining walls. One of the jobs that uses retaining walls is the Km Rest Area. 456 Semarang-Solo Toll Road or also known as the Pendopo Rest Area. The Pendopo Rest Area has 2 buildings opposite each other called area A and area B. Area B is located on an uneven contour. Therefore, the construction of the rest area requires excavation and embankment work as well as soil retaining wall work. The type of reinforcement chosen is theretaining wall geoframe. Geoframe is a slope reinforcement system consisting of a geogrid material, non-woven geotextile and frame .. Plannedmaterial used is geogrid the type of high-densitypolyester 100%coated withtype C bitumen with license Voltage Maximum value of 80 kN / m2. Non woven geotextiles use types PET 200 gr.material Frame in the form of iron with a diameter of 6 mm which is woven in such a way. This study aims to determine the value of the slope safety factor prior to reinforcement and the slope after being given thereinforcement Geoframe with the planned material specifications. The calculation of the value of the slope safety factor before reinforcement is calculated using two methods, namely themethod, the Bishop result is 1.06 and with the help of theProgram the Plaxis result is 1.00. While the value of the slope safety factor after being givenreinforcement is Geoframe also calculated using two methods, namely themethod, theTwo-Part Wedge result is 1.830 and with the help of theProgram the Plaxis result is 1.911. From the calculation of the value of the slope safety factor both before and after being reinforced, it can be concluded that the installation of aretaining wall Geoframe can increase the value of the slope safety factor so that it can change the slope from an unstable condition and prone to landslides into a safe slope.
