Abstract

The strategic location of Kayen Sub-district make the capital area of Kayen Subdistrict more crowded from year to year, there are also supported by more public facilities, urban infrastructure, and central buiseness, it causes land use change. Based on detailed spatial plan for 2010-2030, the capital area of Kayen Sub-district is used as one of the district's strategic areas in Pati District from the point of economic interest. Therefore an analysis of land use change is required and comparison between land use changes that have occurred and plans made by the government. The analysis of landuse change was carried out through remote sensing methods using Geo-eye imagery and then visualized, in order to know the distribution of land use change. Interviews were conducted to determine the causes of land use change, the results of the interview showed that there was no influence from the progress of the Kayen capital area. The results of the comparison show that the land use change that is in line with the RDTR is 86.97%.
