Abstract

Fishery and marine resources owned by Indonesia are a big result because it is a maritime country, a country that has a sea area larger than the land area. The large potential of fisheries has not been fully and evenly exploited. The use of fishing is mostly still heavy for fishermen with adequate equipment and lots of capital. Pati Regency is a district that has high fishery potential. The fishing in Dukuhseti District is carried out by moderate category fishermen and only relies on experience. Remote Sensing can be used to help determine fishing locations that are more precise and inexpensive. This study uses the Aqua Modis satellite image processing method of chlorophyll-a products and sea surface temperature. The use of oceanographic parameters is considered to be able to show where fish habitats live properly. Processing of fisheries potential zones can be used to assist fishermen in determining catching points so as to minimize the risk of loss.
