Abstract

Education is a shared responsibility between family, community and government. Family education is the first and foremost education for their children because the children firstly receive an education from their family. Thus the first education is found in family life. This research will discuss about the values of education in the family contained in the holy Qur'an QS: At-Tahrim6 and QS: Asy-Syu'ara214 according to Al-Misbah and Al-Azhar Tafsir. The purpose of this 2 research to describe the values of education in the family according to Al-Qur'an QS: AT-Tahrim6 and QS: Asy-Syu'ara214 according to Al- Misbah and Al-Azhar Tafsir. The research design of this study is library research which is a series of studies relating to the method of collecting library data or research conducted in a library where research objects are usually excavated through a variety of library information (books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, and documents ). The emphasis of library research is to find various theories, laws, propositions, principles or ideas that can be used to analyze and solve the problem under study. The nature of this research is descriptive analysis, which is the regular breakdown of all concepts, then provides sufficient understanding and explanation of the results of the description From the results of this study, it was concluded that the values of education in Muslim families according to Al-Qur'an at- Tahrim verse 6 and Asy-Syu'ara verse 214 consisted of religious education, advisory education, exemplary education, as well as punishment and reward education.
