Wasik Fajar Rahmawati/A520160010. The principal`s leadership towards teacher performance. Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. September, 2020. Literature Review: The principal`s leadership towards teacher performance. TheTeacher performance is a measure of the level of quality of education by someone in carrying out a task. Teacher performance can be measured and seen in terms of the competition criteria that should be owned, related to teacher performance is an activity of assessment, learning planning and, implementing it is a teacher performance behavior. Purpose of the researcher to review the literature, that is, and a document from the results of a study to identify the principal`s leadership patterns on teacher performance. Methods: refernces in the form of primary articles, there are approximately 20 journals, 15 national journals with a span of the lst 5 years and 5 journals international journals within the last 7 years. The sample is a research journal with the topic of leadership of teacher performance with the criteria of the selected journal, namely: 1) the role of principal leadership, 2) the function of leadership on teacher performance, 3) the dependent variable is knowing about the principal`s leadership on teacher performance, 4) given, namely the role of the principal on teacher performance or the role of the principal. Results and Discussion: literature review proves that the leadership of the principal has various duties as a leader. Consists of playing a role, planning a program, implementing evaluation, as a model. So by carrying out assigments can have an influence on teacher. Conclusion: Leadership must be able to provide motivation to subordinates in such a way that it will affect the teacher`s task. Teacher performance is a measure of high and low quality of education.
