Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) learning discipline on student achievement in class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Banyudono for the 2019/2020. (2) peer environment on student achievement in class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Banyudono for the academic year 2019/ 2020. (3) learning discipline and peer environment on student achievement in class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Banyudono in the academic year 2019/2020. This type of research uses quantitative research with census design research design. The population in this study were all class XI students of SMKN 1 Banyudono for the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Before the questionnaire was distributed, the instrument was tested to determine whether it was valid or not and reliable or not by using validity and reliability tests. The prerequisite analysis test used the normality test, linearity, multicolonierity, and heteroscedasticity. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, relative contribution and effective contribution. The results of the analysis and discussion can be concluded that: (1) Learning discipline has a positive and significant effect on student achievement in class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Banyudono for the 2019/2020 academic year. (2) The peer environment has a positive and significant effect on student achievement in class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Banyudono for the 2019/2020 academic year. (3) The learning discipline and peer environment have a positive and significant effect together on the learning achievement of students in class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Banyudono for the 2019/2020 school year. The effective contribution of learning discipline variables is 6.9% and the effective contribution of peer environment variables is 16.9% towards learning achievement so that the effective contribution of learning discipline variables and peer environment variables affects 20.8% of learning achievement, while 79.2% is influenced by factors others who were not examined in this study.
