Abstract
Jovi Adhiguna is known as an androgyny so he was appointed as one of the creators in the YouTube Creators for Change program which aims to have a positive impact on people's lives as a representation of a minority group. This study aims to find out how the resistance of Jovi as a minority group in changing community discourse on gender. The research method used in this study is qualitative content analysis with data collection techniques using documentation. Sources of data were obtained through 3 Jovi videos that had been selected according to the criteria by documenting video clips that were in accordance with this research regarding Jovi's resistance as a minority group in changing community discourse. The formulation of the problem in this study is how Jovi Adhiguna resistance to the dominant discourse regarding gender. The results of this study show that Jovi's resistance, which is that he insists that he is not a transgender or genderless person, however his appearance he is still a man, he shows himself to be confident and consistent with his opinions, and shows himself as subjective well-being towards his own happiness.
