Abstract

To forming quality of Human Resources (HR) an important role of education is needed. The quality of education in a nation can affect the human resources it produces. If the quality of education in a nation has shown satisfying results, the human resources that are formed will be of high quality and can compete in the global arena. If the quality of education in a nation has not shown satisfying results, the human resources that are formed are also not qualified and cannot compete in the global arena. Various programs have been carried out by the Indonesian government to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, one of them are evaluation activities that is summative tests. The purpose of this study is to determine of HOTS questions contained in the Integrative Thematic Summative Test questions in grade V at SD Negeri 2 Sobo, and to determine acquisition scores of grade V students at SD Negeri 2 Sobo in working HOTS questions contained in the Integrative Thematic Summative Test questions. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with the research design used is content analysis. The technique used to collect data in this reserach is the documentation technique. Data validity in this study will be proven using source triangulation and expert validation. The data analysis technique in this study consist of several steps, namely: (1) creating categories, (2) processing data, (3) presenting data and providing interpretations, and (4) compiling research reports. The results of the study showed that HOTS questions which include question in the realm of analyzing (C4), question in the realm of evaluating (C5), and question in the realm of creating (C6) are already contained in this summative test. That are classified into HOTS question in the realm of analyzing (C4) exist 7 questions, that are classified into HOTS question in the realm of evaluating (C5) exist 2 questions, and that are classified into HOTS question in the realm of creating (C6) exist 2 questions and total scores obtained by grade V student in working on HOTS questions on Integrative Thematic Summative Test is 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 20. The conclusion of this study shows that HOTS questions have not been much developed in the integrative thematic summative test questions. The questions on the Integrative Thematic Summative Test were still dominated by questions with low level thinking skills (LOTS).
