Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the ability of financial management in the city of Surakarta in order to support the implementation of regional autonomy. While the data used in this study is the 2014-2017 Surakarta City Budget Realization Report. This research method uses Comparative Descriptive analysis to measure regional financial performance and ability in the implementation of Surakarta's regional autonomy, namely Growth Ratio, PAD Effectiveness Ratio, Economic Efficiency Ratio, Regional Financial Independence Ratio and Decentralization Degree Ratio. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the government of Surakarta City is less optimizing the Regional Original Revenue.
