Abstract

This article aims to find out how Women’s March Jakarta Movement campaign to construct anti-sexual violence against women in Indonesia. This movement campaigns through their various activities offline and online. They do online campaign by social media like Instagram to form support, network and strength in opposing violent practice. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The analysis technique in this research is to do content analysis. The unit of analysis in this study is texts and images as campaign activities. The sample examined is Women March Jakarta’s Instagram post in 2019. The research results show that women still often experience sexual violence. That issue is considered quite urgent in Indonesia. However, this movement knows that the issue belongs to everyone. At the same time, the role of the state is also needed to provide legal protection for victims of sexual violence. The campaign is also an alternative form of justice for the victims and as a form of action against violence.
