Abstract

Surkarta city or Solo city is one of city located in the central of java. Solo city being one a city of central education and health. In improving dedication and health services the University Muhammadiyah of Surakarta (UMS) build dental hospitals which is located in Slamet Riyadi street. The purpose of this research is to know the volume of concrete and heavy reinforcement of Portal As-D the dentals hospital 10 floor with use of a special moment frame system bearers (SRPMK), and to know the appeal volume concrete and heavy reinforcement between the Portal As-D and portal original. The building located in Surakarta, Central of Java ground sites with SD category (medium ground), earthquake resistant building with response modification factor (R) by virtue of building factor 8, Ie with a value of 1.25. The quality of concrete used f'c 25 MPa, as well as longitudinal reinforcement fy = 400 MPa and shear reinforcement (begel) fyt = 240 MPa. In these research using SAP2000 program to aid calculation of structure and analysis program AutoCad for the depiction of the details of the structure of the building. The results of this research get of beams with dimensions 400/600 mm, 300/500 mm, 250/450 mm and with D22 longitudinal reinforcement and shear reinforcement ∅12. Column retrieved with dimensions 600/600 mm and longitudinal reinforcement with D25 and reinforcement bores ∅12. Base on the results of dimensions and reinforcement comparison between reinforcement and concrete needs of data control results with data obtained in the field, concrete needs of 83.160 m3 or comparison of 0.745 < 1 and needs reinforcement 25.859 tonnes or comparison of 1.685 > 1. It shows the volume of concrete more efficient when compared with the field, while the reinforcement needs from the control compared more wasteful then portal original.
