Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of unemployment, gross domestic regional product (GDRP), investment and wages on inflation of 26 provinces in Indonesia in 2018. The data used is cross-section data by taking 26 provinces in Indonesia in a coherent 1 year 2018. Through secondary data taken from literature studies both BPS literature, Bank Indonesia, journals and previous research. The data is processed using cross-section data with the selected method, namely Ordinary Least Square (OLS) analysis method assisted with E-views8 software in its operation. The results of this study indicate the R-Squared value of 0.434 means that the variable inflation variation (INF) can be explained by the unemployment variable (PENG), gross domestic regional product (GDRP), wages (UPH), and investment variable (INV) by 43.4%. The remaining 56.6% is influenced by variables or other factors not included in the model. In the F statistical test on the estimated model has (0.0140) which means <0.05; so H0 is rejected, the conclusion that the model used exists or the independent variable simultaneously has an influence on the dependent variable. On the t test, there are two variables that have a statistically significant effect on inflation: wages have a significant effect with the level of α = 5% and investment have a significant effect on the level of α = 10%, while the unemployment variable and regional gross domestic income have no statistically significant effect on inflation of 26 provinces in Indonesia in 2018.
