Abstract
This research aims to describe the ability to think creatively in solving story questions of material fraction viewed from learning styles in class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. This research involve six students in class VII A of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. Type and design of research in this research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques used in this study are questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The validity of the data is by triangulation techniques. Data analysis is by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students' creative thinking abilities in terms of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles can reach three indicators namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. Students with visual learning styles can reach the level of creative thinking ability 3 (creative) that meets the indicators of creative thinking fluency and flexibility or fluency and novelty. Students with auditory and kinesthetic learning styles can reach the level of creative thinking ability 4 (very creative) that meets the indicators of creative thinking fluency flexibility, and novelty.
