Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) The activities of social and personal service programs at Elementary School of Al-Firdaus Surakarta 2) The process of social and personal services at Elementary School of Al-Firdaus Surakarta 3) The process of solving student aggressive problems at Elementary School of Al-Firdaus Surakarta 4) Obstacles and solutions when implementing social and personal services. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study design. The resource persons in this study were the principal, guidance and counseling officers and students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Technique validity of data in this study using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that: 1) Social and personal service program activities in elementary schools were in accordance with the objectives of social and personal services and the school had formulated the program. Involves homeroom teacher, principal, and guidance officer who is a psychologist. Given to all students as needed and implemented on a scheduled basis. Infrastructure facilities include counseling rooms, manuals, counseling service journals, games, books, educational videos, good and bad cards. 2) The process of social and personal services, namely providing social and personal services and handling them according to the type of problem 3) The process of solving student aggressive problems at Elementary School of Al-Firdaus Surakarta through several stages, namely identification of cases, identification of problems, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, evaluation and follow up. 4) The obstacles experienced are the parents lack of communication with the school, the guidance officers are not graduates of guidance and counseling, the guardians of students do not carry out the things that have been agreed upon, there are parties who are impatient, the condition of students who are sick so they cannot attend counseling. The solution taken is to invite parents of students to actively communicate with the school, read guidance and counseling books, convey the efforts made by the school to student guardians, provide an understanding of the counseling process, and change the counseling schedule.
