Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe the structure that built the Rain novel by Tere Liye, (2) Describe the social values contained in the Rain novel by Tere Liye, (3) Describe the implementation of the results of social value research in the Hujan novel Tere Liye novel teach high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, the research strategy used is a embedded case study. Data collection techniques performed by library techniques, note taking techniques, and listening techniques. While the data analysis technique uses heuristic and hermeneutic methods. The results of this study can be concluded that (1) Known intrinsic elements of the novel Hujan by Tere Liye (2) Sociology of Literature, (3) Social values contained in the Hujan novel by Tere Liye (4) Learning implementation plans carried out by using the curriculum reference 2013, KD 3.9. The learning model used is the Think, Talk, and Write learning model. The steps of learning the intrinsic elements and aspects of literary sociology used include preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities.
