Abstract

NITROGEN AND FOSFOR CONTENT AS WELL AS SENSORIZED TEST ON ORGANIC LIQUID FERTILIZER IN KETAPANG LEAF LITTER AND SEMANGKA LEATHER WITH ADDITION OF BAMBOO ROOT Fertilizer is a nutrient given to plants that functions to complement the availability of nutrients so that plant growth can be better. Utilization of ketapang leaf litter and watermelon skin with the addition of bamboo roots can be used as liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to determine the nitrogen and phosphorus content as well as the sensory test on liquid organic fertilizer of ketapang leaf litter and watermelon skin with the addition of bamboo roots. This research method used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 1 factor using 3 levels of treatment, namely B1 120 ml ketapang leaf extract and 180 ml watermelon rind extract with the addition of 30 ml bamboo root extract, B2 120 ml ketapang leaf extract and bark extract. 180 ml watermelon with the addition of 35 ml bamboo root extract, and B3 120 ml ketapang leaf extract and 180 ml watermelon rind extract with the addition of 40 ml bamboo root extract. The results of this study indicated that there were differences in nitrogen and phosphorus content in the liquid organic fertilizer of ketapang leaf litter and watermelon skin with the addition of bamboo roots. In the sensory test, the results obtained had a brownish yellow color, an aroma like the aroma of tape, a liquid texture, and a pH of 4. So that it can be concluded that there is a nitrogen and phosphorus content as well as a sensory test on liquid organic fertilizer of ketapang leaf litter and watermelon skin with the addition of bamboo roots.
