Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning patterns of leading Muhammadiyah cadres in 2016 and 2018 so that students can be motivated in general to learn. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The subjects in this study were students who won the 2016 and 2018 Muhammadiyah flagship scholarships at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The results of the study patterns of Muhammadiyah cadres 2016 and 2018 are having a learning plan, evaluating learning activities, mental preparation and infrastructure before learning, having high participation in lessons, independent learning activities, and mastering the exam time material. In addition it was also found that the learning patterns of students at the beginning of lecture time were better than the learning patterns of students in the last semester.
