Abstract
Mulyani / A20160095. WORK CULTURE OF IRON GUIDERS IN THE MOJO VILLAGE, ANDONG DISTRICT, BOYOLALI DISTRICT. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. July 21, 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the work culture of blacksmith craftsmen in Jaten Village, Andong District, Boyolali District. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach. Data collection methods used in this study was questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The validity of the data in this study uses source triangulation and source triangulation and confirmation. Data analysis techniques used 4-step interactive model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that (1) the basic assumption about work on a blacksmith craftsman is considered as the main occupation (2) the blacksmith craftsman has a liking attitude towards work as a craftsman (3) the behavior when working a blacksmith craftsman is diligent, dedicated behavio, responsibility, caution, thoroughness, accuracy, willingness to learn tasks and responsibilities, and the last is the preference to help fellow employees (4) work environment and work tools are very adequate covering the physical work environment, as well as non-physical work environment, as well with work tools provided in accordance with the needs of the blacksmith craftsmen (5) wrok ethic includes respecting the time when working, morality at work, honesty at work or not at work, commitment to work, consistently working at the five positive behaviors of an average worker whose work ethic is the work ethic is the work they do as a blacksmith craftsman.
