Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence with social interaction on students. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence with social interaction of students. The population in this study were students of psychology majors 2019 as many as 333. The subjects used were 70 students of psychology class 2019 using random sampling techniques. The method used is a quantitative method with 3 scales namely the scale of social interaction, self-concept scale and emotional intelligence scale. Based on the results of the analysis shows that there is a relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence with social interaction on students. The results of the analysis of self-concept variables with social interactions show that the higher the student's self-concept, the higher the social interaction of students and vice versa. While the results of the analysis of emotional intelligence variables with social interaction show that there is no relationship so that students have low, moderate or high emotional intelligence has nothing to do with student social interaction
