Abstract

Hydroponic is a farming system without soil, instead using water as the alternate media. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectivity of Pupuk Cair Organik (POC) banana stem on the growth of green spinach and red spinach hydroponically. This research using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with factorial pattern; 2 factors and 3 repetitions. The researcher used two way annova to analyze the data with 5% significant level followed by post-hoc LSD. The measured parameters are plant height, number of leaves, fresh plant weight, and dry plant weight. Based on the data analysis, it indicates that the concentration of POC banana stem have an effect to the plant height, number of leaves, fresh plant weight, and dry plant weight. The best treatment is the P0 treatment with concentration of AB Mix 100% and P1 with concentration of (15% POC+85% AB Mix) concentration. Meanwhile, the poor treatment was P3 treatment with concentration of (65% POC+35% AB Mix).
